Erasmus+ KA152 · Co-funded by the European Union.
“Roots & Routes” is an international youth exchange project focused on promoting social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and community cohesion among young people from different countries.
The Roots & Routes project brings together young people from different European countries to explore the connection between cultural heritage, local traditions, and active citizenship. Through non-formal education, participants will exchange experiences, develop intercultural understanding, and discover how local identity can inspire inclusive and sustainable communities.
Throughout the mobility, participants will engage in collaborative workshops, cultural visits, reflection sessions, and outdoor learning activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and meaningful international cooperation. The project aims to strengthen European values while promoting respect for diversity and cultural expression.
The Roots & Routes project will empower participants to better understand Europe's cultural diversity while developing essential competencies such as intercultural communication, teamwork, leadership, and active participation. Participants will return to their communities with practical ideas for promoting inclusion, preserving cultural heritage, and encouraging civic engagement among young people.
The project will also strengthen long-term cooperation between partner organizations, creating new opportunities for future Erasmus+ initiatives and international youth exchanges. By fostering dialogue and mutual understanding, Roots & Routes aims to inspire young people to become active contributors to more connected, inclusive, and resilient communities.
