Free European Youth e.V. is opening volunteer positions for its upcoming summer 2026 activities in Germany. We are looking for motivated, responsible, and open-minded individuals who would like to contribute to international youth projects and support meaningful learning experiences for young people.

Support International Youth Activities

Volunteers will assist our team before, during, and after project activities. Depending on the programme and individual interests, tasks may include welcoming participants, supporting group activities, helping with practical arrangements, documenting project moments, preparing materials, and contributing to communication and dissemination work.

The role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in youth work, non-formal education, intercultural communication, event organization, and international project coordination.

Who Can Apply?

Previous experience in youth work, volunteering, education, or international projects is a plus, but it is not required. We especially welcome applicants who are reliable, collaborative, willing to learn, and comfortable working in an intercultural environment.

  • Interest in youth work and non-formal education
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Responsibility and flexibility during activities
  • Motivation to support young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Working knowledge of English; German is an advantage

What Volunteers Can Expect

Selected volunteers will receive guidance from the Free European Youth e.V. team and will be introduced to their tasks before the activities begin. The experience will provide valuable insight into how international youth projects are implemented and how inclusive, engaging learning environments are created.

Volunteering with us is also a chance to meet people from different countries, develop new skills, expand professional networks, and make a direct contribution to activities that promote participation, inclusion, sustainability, and intercultural exchange.

How to Express Interest

Interested applicants are invited to contact us with a short introduction, information about their availability during summer 2026, and a brief explanation of why they would like to volunteer. Relevant experience may be included, but formal youth work experience is not a requirement.

“Bring your motivation, ideas, and willingness to contribute—we will provide the guidance and space to learn.”
